Data Distribution Network

Data Distribution Network (DIT) is an infrastructure element of the State Information Systems Interconnector (VISS), which provides a virtual environment in which institutions can regulate auto-communications between their information systems (IS). Information exchange occurs using channels, where each channel ensures the transmission of messages from one owner to several participants (DIK channel) or several participants to one owner (DSK channel):

Data Distribution channel (DIK) A channel through which messages flow from a single sender, who is the channel owner, to multiple recipients, who are channel members.

Data collection channel (DSK) A channel through which messages flow from multiple senders, who are channel members, to a single recipient – the channel owner.

Each channel has regulations regarding the types of messages that can be sent through it. Each channel provides for sending Business messages or Transaction messages:

Business message. A regular message that does not link to other messages within a channel.
Transaction message. A standard (classified) ordered set of operations that are applied to a specific data array to update it. Each record in a transaction message usually contains a DML (Data manipulation language) operation code (insert, update, delete).

All messages sent or received are stored in a mailbox (electronic message storage). Each institution registered in VISS and using DIT is assigned one email mailbox, which stores all incoming or outgoing messages. In the DIT environment, mailboxes are communicatively connected using channels.

How do I apply to receive data distributed by another institution?

First, you need to find the DIT channel where the institution distributes the data of interest. The channel may have several versions, choose the latest one unless there is a specific reason to use one of the previous versions. Look for the 'Apply' button next to the channel description and indicate the reason for applying, which will be reviewed by the responsible employees of the institution distributing the data. Later, after reviewing the application, you will receive a decision on approval or rejection of the application.

Messages are not being received on the data distribution channel, even though they are known to be sent. What are the possible reasons for this?

Solution limitations
- Elasticsearch list limit – up to 10,000 records.
- The DIT3 WEB application data display limit, which affects the size of the message, must not exceed 2Mb. Messages exceeding 2Mb will only be available for download in the DIT WEB application.
- The visual framework of the DIT3 WEB application is implemented according to Storybook.
